A bundle of morphosyntactic features which can link to bundles of semantic and phonological features. Traditionally, all three would compose the underlying form of a bundle or string of sound features and the meaning associated with such. Ex.- English: /z/ underlying form of the plural marker: [s], [ez], [z] are all surface forms: cats, bushes, dogs (morphology)
