Adele Goldberg

As one of the main proponents for Construction Grammar, Goldberg views form-function correspondences, i.e. constructions, as the basic units of grammar. One of her most important works on Construction Grammar is ‘Constructions: A Construction Grammar Approach to Argument Structure’ (1995). She is also interested in the psychology of language and the acquisition of constructions.
